Gmail has an advanced search option which most of the people don't know. Here the steps for Advanced search to find and email in gmail.
Step 1. Click on the Arrow button on the right side of the Search Box as shown in the image.
Step 2. In advanced search options choose the appropriate method to search an email and then clic on search button below.
