How to check TCP connection with your PC on Internet or Network

We all know that surfing on internet is not safe so we should know the basic things so we can save our self being trapped by someone on internet. If we are connected to internet but have not opened any website or torrent or antivirus update and still data is uploading continuously that means we are not safe and some keylogger, trojan or malware has been installed on our computer, because they send all the data information to their server and our data and login information is being uploaded to their server and later that can be misused. SO always keep on checking your data uploading speed atleast once a week. To check the uploading bits click on the Network and Connections in Windows XP and Network and Sharing Center in Windows 7/8/8.1. And then click on Local Area Network in case of wired Internet and WiFi in case of Wireless Internet. Restart the Computer and then check the uploading bits speed. If its very slow then you are safe and if it is running very fast that means data is being uploaded on the attackers servers.

There is an another way to check the TCP connection through netstat Command

Open DOS by typing cms in RUN box in Windows XP and in search program features box in Windows 7/8/8.1.
Now type netstat -a or netstat -n in DOS and press enter. and Restart the Computer before running the command because old established connections with the website we surfed will be closed. If you are still seeing the established connections then wait for 30 min to 1 hr and run the same command again and if that same connection is still established then you are compromising your data with some attacker, and you are victim of data theft.
