How to Reset Google Chrome to its default settings
We need to Reset our web browser if it is crashing or hanging or may be its slowed because of some extensions we installed in Google chrome. So resetting Google Chrome to its default settings may help you to get rid of the issues you face while browsing through Google Chrome web browser. Sometimes some software's get installed automatically from the internet which change the Default Search engine and other settings too, So resetting Google chrome helps in this issue too. Resetting Google Chrome do not delete Bookmarks we have saved so no worries.
Step 1. Open Google Chrome browser and then type chrome://settings in address bar.

Step 2. Now click on the Show Advanced Settings by scrolling down the settings page.
Step 3.Now scroll down to the Advanced Settings page and then click on Reset browser settings button.
Step 4. Now click on Reset button giving all the details of resetting google chrome settings.
After Reset you will be resetting
1. Homepage back to Google Account Sign in page like we install Google Chrome first time.
2. New Tab page and search engines will be reset to its default settings.
3. All the themes and extensions will be disabled.
4. Cookies, History and site preference settings will be deleted.
