Google Chrome web browser in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 by default opens as Metro UI, and it is very difficult to use for the users who are habitual of using Google Chrome in Windows 7 as Desktop Mode.
By applying simple setting you can use Google Chrome as you used it in Windows 7 which can be minimized on Taskbar and you can see the Desktop.
Goto Options in Google Chrome and then click on Relaunch Chrome on the desktop.
You can also go back to Metro UI interface of Google Chrome by clicking on Relaunch Google Chrome in Window 8 mode.
