One secret in gmail username

Gmail is very popular email service provider and almost every internet user have email address with GMAIL and most of us use DOT(.) in our username of gmail account.

for example: an.kapoor@gmail.com

But the secret is that gmail do not recognise dot(.) as a character in username or email address so we can skip dot(.) in our gmail email address and we can write our gmail email address without the use of dot(.) character.

For example if we have email address an.kapoor@gmail.com then we can simply write ankapoor@gmail.com.
