How to fix Pen Drive not visible in My Computer?

Sometimes Pen Drives/USB Sticks when we insert doesn't shown in My Computer So simple fix can easily make your pen drive or usb stick visible in My Computer. Steps to apply fix are as

Step 1. Insert your pen drive on USB port and then go to Control Panel and click on Administrator Tools.

Step 2. Now click on Computer Management under Control panel.

Step 3. From the Computer Management windows click on Disk Management from the left pane.

Step 4. Now see if your Pen Drive is Visible in Disk 1 or Disk 2, then right click on the Disk 1, because i have inserted 4 GB Pen drive which doesn't have any drive letter. So assigning a Drive Letter can easily make my pen drive visible in My Computer.

Step 5. Now Right Click on the Disk 1 and then click on Change Drive Letter and Paths..

Step 6. From the above window click on Add button and then click on OK.

Step 7. Now choose the drive letter from the drop down box or let it as it is, because Window will automatically assign available drive letter e.g Drive G, Now click on OK.

Step 8. Now drive letter G has been assigned to the pen drive and it is accessible in My Computer now, 

Step 9. The File System of the pen drive is RAW, But windows can only recognize FAT,FAT32 or NTFS file system, So format the Pen drive by right clicking on the G Drive and then choosing Format.

Step 10. Now click on the OK button and let the Perform a quick format option checked.

Step 11. Now it will ask you for the confirmation, Click on OK button.

Now your Pen drive is accessible in My Computer and you can use your Pen Drive.
