How to run Windows XP compatible Software's and Games on Windows 7/8/8.1

Most of us face the compatibility issues when we try to install old software which were running perfectly in Windows XP but they don't run on PC running Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Here is a simple tweak by which we can run all the softwares on our new Operating System without any issue.

1. Right click on the shortcut of software has been installed but when you try to open it do not show anything or shows compatibility error.

2. Choose Properties from the Right Click menu of the shortcut.

3.  From properties menu click on Compatibility tab click checkbox of Run this program in compatibility mode for: and then choose the apropriate Operating System where the software was running perfectly, I Recommend Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Now click on OK button and try to run the software by double clicking the same shortcut.
