Generally we make selection in MS-Word Horizontally to select a line word or paragraph, by holding Mouse Right button from left to right. We can also select text Vertically in MS-Word document. Here is a trick.
In the below example i want to delete # sign from all the lines typed in MS-Word, So i have to move my cursor to left side and have to press Delete key one by one. No worries we can delete all the # signs with a simple trick.
Press Alt key and Hold the Mouse Left button and drag the mouse from Vertically top to bottom, and release Alt key when you reach to last selection and then release Mouse left button.
Bingo you are done with Vertical selection in MS-Word, Now you can delete all the # symbols by this simple trick.
