The resolution of Desktop PC's and Laptop is different so the presentation created on Desktop PC are not seen on wide screen of Laptop screen and it shows Black Bars on the both sides of PowerPoint presentation. So to see the PowerPoint presentation on wide screen in office 2010 and office 2013 click on Design tab and then choose Slide Size from the right corner of the Design tab and choose Widescreen(16:9).
