Today we see almost every E-Commerce company is promoting their mobile apps on internet as well as on TV Advertisement. Some companies like amazon attracting people by giving an offer by which users need to install the amazon app on their device then they will be eligible for winning Google Nexus 5 as a prize.
Basic reasons of diverting from websites to mobile app is due to huge smartphone users..1.08 billion(Source) smartphone users in the world having Android, IOS and Windows as Operating system. So it is very easy to access app instead of opening the website on the Smartphone or Tablet. It also saves time and bandwidth which goes wasted in loading the website on a mobile phone. Sometime due to very low RAM and small CPU in smartphones some website crashed out.
Mobile apps running on a smartphone have interface designed on the mobile phone and that interface is not downloaded every time we use the app. only the images and the prices are downloaded when accessing the products from the app. It saves time and bandwidth of both client and server. Resolution of images on mobile phone and Tablet apps is also very low which saves lots of bandwidth and space. Ultimately using mobile apps instead of huge websites which are bandwidth and space hungry is very convenient for both user and the E-Commerce Companies.
